Pete’s park lessons · Lesson 12 of 15

Selling Your RV Park Quietly: Protect Occupancy and Your Books

  • A rumor is an occupancy problem. Guests start looking elsewhere and staff get nervous before a serious buyer ever shows up.
  • Write a one-page anonymous teaser: general region, rough site count, amp mix, and occupancy. No name, address, or tenant details.
  • Have your attorney prepare or review a mutual NDA. Nobody gets the books before it’s signed.
  • Ask the actual buyer for proof of funds before the full documents open up.
  • Give staff a short, honest script, escort every tour at quiet times, and keep a buyer log.
