RV Park Water Systems: Pressure, Permits, and the Paper a Buyer Needs

  • Many park water systems count as regulated public water systems. Find out what your state requires, and get current on testing with a certified lab.
  • On a full weekend, check pressure at the closest and farthest sites during morning showers and in the evening. Write down the readings and times.
  • Compare winter use with summer use. High winter use can point to a leak, and a leak costs you twice: once on water and again on the septic.
  • Keep the paper: permits, test results, and any bid for the line or tank upgrade.
